Pride WA has launched its new Participation Pack to make getting involved in this year's Pride Festival easy. The theme of this year's Festival is commUNITY and Pride aims to build our community with another rich mix of arts, culture and community events.
Pride Co-President Daniel Smith said the new Participation Pack was a one-stop-shop for those wanting to get involved.
"Pride's new Participation Pack in jam packed with everything you need to know to make getting involved in this year's Pride Festival easy," he said.
"Whether you are interested in volunteering, becoming a sponsor, hosting a stall at Fairday or entering a float in the Parade, the Participation Pack has all the facts, figures and tips you need. It even has application forms for each of our events.
"The Participation Pack will be posted to organisations soon, but you can download a copy now from our web site www.pridewa.asn.au."
Co-President Laura Foster said Pride was aiming to build upon the recent growth of both Fairday and the Parade.
"Over the last few years, we have seen our major events go from strength to strength and Pride is working hard to continue this growth.
"However, none of this growth is possible without the hard work of our many community groups and their volunteers, who put together wonderful stalls, floats and events that make the Pride Festival the most vibrant and exciting Festival in Western Australia.
"I encourage everybody in our community to get a copy of the Participation Pack and decide how you are going to get involved this year and help Pride build our community."
